应激反应或促使癌症通过淋巴系统扩散

澳大利亚维多利亚莫纳什大学Erica Sloan团队展示了淋巴系统如何受应激激素影响,并导致小鼠体内癌细胞的扩散。利用小鼠进行的多次研究表明,应激反应会增加与肿瘤相关的淋巴管的数量和直径。研究人员使用特殊显微技术,演示了应激激素能增加淋巴系统中存在荧光标记的纳米粒子流量。通过阻断能检测应激反应的蛋白质或阻断能促进淋巴管形成的蛋白质的活性,研究团队减少了小鼠癌细胞的扩散。
