JAHA:一种新的单叶主动脉瓣小鼠模型

本研究对2.5-4个月大小的EgfrVel/+小鼠和对照小鼠的主动脉瓣进行了体视显微镜观察,并在2.5、4.5、8和12个月对EgfrVel/+小鼠和对照小鼠进行了超声心动图检查和病理组织学检测。分析结果显示,79%的EgfrVel/+小鼠主动脉瓣显示有异常,并类似人类的单叶主动脉瓣,在12个月大小的小鼠中,主动脉瓣的组织结构已经完全损坏。心超结果显示38%的2.5月龄EgfrVel/+小鼠存在中重度主动脉瓣反流或狭窄,在主动脉瓣异常的EgfrVel/+小鼠中还发现左室增大、肥厚和心肌相关基因的胚胎表达异常。

本研究发现了一个新的可以模拟人类单叶主动脉瓣疾病的小鼠模型。
