PLoS One:染色体2p14位点是麻风易感基因

  据领衔这一研究的山东省皮肤病性病防治研究所所长、泰山学者***张福仁博士介绍,他的团队近期又发现了第十个麻风易感基因,与此前已公布的九个易感基因,将进一步有助于确定麻风易感个体,为未来麻风病的一级预防积累基础。这些易感基因的发现是张福仁团队对2万多份病例和对照样本长期研究的结果。他们的研究更新了对麻风病的普遍认知:遗传因素和麻风菌侵犯是导致麻风病发生的原因。张福仁说,传统观点认为麻风是传染病,与遗传无关,但事实并非如此,患上麻风病的群体中有大概四分之一有麻风家族史。

  张福仁强调说,在研究过程中,已发现的麻风十个易感基因均与人体的固有免疫有关,携带这十个易感基因的人因固有免疫的某些缺陷更容易患上麻风病,但没有并不代表就不会患病。

  2006年起,张福仁率领的研究团队联合安徽医科大学皮肤病研究所张学军教授团队和新加坡国立基因研究院刘建军教授团队,利用国家人类基因组南方研究中心和安徽医科大学全基因组关联分析实验平台和分析技术研究麻风易感基因。由于仍然在研究过程中,张福仁未透露更多关于这一新基因的详细信息。
