詹姆斯·罗斯曼
詹姆斯·罗斯曼是耶鲁大学细胞生物学系系主任、纪念Fergus F. Wallace生物医学教授。他曾获得多种荣誉,包括哥伦比亚大学的露依莎·格罗斯·霍维茨奖、拉斯克奖基础医学奖(2002年)、费萨尔国王奖。他在耶鲁大学取得硕士学位,在哈佛获博士学位。

托马斯·聚德霍夫
托马斯·聚德霍夫(Thomas C. Südhof,1955年12月22日生于德国哥廷根),德国生物化学家,以研究突触传递知名。自1986年以来聚德霍夫博士的研究已经阐明了许多主要的蛋白介导突触前功能。2013年,他和理查德·舍勒分享了拉斯克基础医学奖。

兰迪·谢克曼
兰迪·谢克曼(Randy W. Schekman,1948年12月30日-)是一位来自加州大学伯克利分校的细胞生物学家,曾任《美国国家科学院院刊》主编。1992年当选美国国家科学院院士。2002年与詹姆斯·罗思曼因对细胞膜传输的研究获拉斯克基础医学奖。

其余奖项从今日起陆续举行揭晓
今年诺贝尔奖各奖项的具体揭晓时间如下:
1、生理学或医学奖:不早于斯德哥尔摩时间7日11时30分(北京时间7日17时30分);
2、物理学奖:不早于斯德哥尔摩时间8日11时45分(北京时间8日17时45分);
3、化学奖:不早于斯德哥尔摩时间9日11时45分(北京时间9日17时45分);
4、和平奖:斯德哥尔摩时间11日11时(北京时间11日17时);
5、经济学奖:不早于斯德哥尔摩时间14日13时(北京时间14日19时)。
  
至于今年的诺贝尔文学奖,其揭晓时间尚未最终确定。在奖金数量方面,由于受到经济危机的影响,2012年的诺奖奖金由1000万瑞典克朗缩水至800万瑞典克朗,今年奖金的具体数量则尚未公布。

诺贝尔医学及生理学奖及化学奖的得奖之作都发表在什么杂志上呢?当然CNS是少不了的,确实有不少得奖佳作都刊登在Cell、Nature、Science上。推崇CNS、重视杂志的IF,不见得完全错误或没有意义。但我想指出的是,同样有许多被诺奖委员会引述的得奖论文,是发表在优秀的专业杂志甚至是被国内某些评鉴系统认为是次等甚至是不值一提的学术刊物上的,以下我举一些例子说明。   2009年化学

2013年生理医学诺贝尔奖,花落谁家?

诺贝尔评审委员会钟情的研究领域是那些?一方面是新发现、新现象和新规律的情况,这属于基础理论方面的研究。如发现新病原体、结构、新的分子细节,过去各种细胞内结构如溶酶体、高尔基体、核糖体等、血型、疫苗、激素、维生素、抗生素、免疫功能、受体信号传导机制、新病毒、端粒、小RNA干扰现象、嗅觉形成、条件反射等。这些研究往往给人类提供新的概念,认识到新的现象或对某一现象更准确深入的理解。
