近日,一篇刊登在国际杂志Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience上的研究报告中,来自费德里科-二世大学的研究人员通过研究发现,饱和脂肪酸水平较高的饮食或许会让我们的大脑无法控制饮食。

如果人们想要减肥,那么最好远离饱和脂肪酸,摄入饱和脂肪酸的食物或可影响大脑的下丘脑结构,而下丘脑可以帮助控制饥饿感。饱和脂肪酸可以引发炎症,而炎症又可阻断大脑对机体食物摄入的控制,换句话说,研究者往往能在肥胖患者中发现患者很难控制他们摄入食物的量,也就是患者不知道什么时候停止进食,以及不知道他们该如何选择饮食方式。

文章中研究者通过对大鼠进行研究发现,富含饱和脂肪酸的饮食可以降低个体的认知功能,从而个体就难以控制其饮食习惯了。研究者Marianna Crispino教授解释道,我们一直致力于研究饮食对机体健康的影响,尽管高脂肪饮食对机体代谢的影响已经被广泛研究了,但研究者并不清楚高脂肪饮食对大脑的影响。高脂肪饮食可以采取不同的形式来影响机体健康,实际上,存在多种不同类型的脂肪分子;而饱和脂肪酸就是存在于猪油、黄油及油炸食品中的一种脂肪分子,而鱼类、鳄梨及橄榄油中往往富含不饱和脂肪酸。

摄入鱼油来替代猪油或许会对机体的影响带来巨大的改变,研究者发现,大脑的功能可以维持正常,并且会设法抑制机体过多食物不必要的食物;如今通过本文研究,研究者就揭示了脂肪膳食对大脑的影响,他们表示,人们应当密切关注平时所摄入脂肪酸的类型,这对于有效降低个体肥胖风险,抑制多种代谢疾病的发生将非常关键。
