在7月（3日）的第八届中国肿瘤内科大会开幕式上，David Kerr教授向参会专家就结直肠癌">结直肠癌化疗敏感性生物学标志物鉴定方面的研究进行了介绍。

Kerr教授讲到，目前，我们需要建立较大的生物标志物数据库，这样才能有足够的统计学分析能力来建设来鉴定具有预测功能的生物学标志物。随机临床试验，组织标本与高质量研究数据能够提供理想的证实药物特异性的诊断方法。

实时定量PCR(RT-PCR)检测对于明确5-Fu化疗敏感性的基因组特征意义不大。以癌症功能为基础的shRNA筛查研究发现了对5-Fu化疗敏感性意义重大的生物学标志物。

这些生物标志物正在1800例肿瘤组织标本中进行检测(QUASAR1临床试验)。未来，对于奥沙利铂以及伊立替康药物敏感性，都会应用该方法对其敏感性进行研究。
