Sci Rep:特定牙周细菌的组合可显著增加机体特定原因的死亡率

牙周致病菌多,死亡风险大牙周各种细菌的特异性组合与各类牙周炎的发生相关,研究假设,这种特异性组合与人类特定原因的死亡也相关。此研究中,研究人员在美国一个有代表性的人群中做了长达11年(平均时间)的调查来验证此假设。结果发现,21种血清牙周细菌抗体的两种特定模式可显著增加全因和/或糖尿病相关的死亡率。这些数据表明,牙周细菌的特定组合,即使并没有引起临床上明显的牙周炎,仍可显著影响人类特定原因死亡率。
