NAT MED:调节肠道微生物组可预防晚期脓毒症

已有的研究显示,迟发性败血症(LOS)是由于早产儿肠道中共生微生物的全身扩散所致。由于疗效有限,益生菌在临床上用于预防LOS的方法有所不同。这说明,至今为止,我们对肠道微生物组发育,新生儿营养不良和LOS之间的关系还不完全了解。

最近,使用LOS模型,研究人员发现发育中的微生物组的成分对于预防LOS是必要和充分的。在母体使用抗生素,消除或丰富鼠李糖乳杆菌传播分别加剧和预防了疾病。预防性施用某些乳酸菌,但不是全部,具有保护作用,这与大肠杆菌一样。

肠道氧气水平是微生物定居动态的主要驱动力,尽管其机制不同于成年人。

这些结果建立了新生儿微生物组功能障碍和LOS之间的联系,并为合理选择益生菌以预防疾病提供了基础。
