ACS Chem Biol:从卫矛属中发现治疗帕金森氏症新化合物

据报道,日前从上海交通大学获悉,该校系统生物医学研究院吴方课题组和药学院张卫东课题组通过开展生物学与化学多学科交叉与合作,从我国西双版纳特有植物中发现了一种可治疗帕金森氏症的天然产物。  帕金森氏症是一种常见的神经退行性疾病,在全球影响着600多万患者。而多巴脱羧酶是治疗帕金森氏症的药物靶点蛋白。 吴方和张卫东课题组等通过构建新型高通量药物筛选模型,从西双版纳特有的卫矛属植物

据报道,日前从上海交通大学获悉,该校系统生物医学研究院吴方课题组和药学院张卫东课题组通过开展生物学与化学多学科交叉与合作,从我国西双版纳特有植物中发现了一种可治疗帕金森氏症的天然产物。 

帕金森氏症是一种常见的神经退行性疾病,在全球影响着600多万患者。而多巴脱羧酶是治疗帕金森氏症的药物靶点蛋白。

吴方和张卫东课题组等通过构建新型高通量药物筛选模型,从西双版纳特有的卫矛属植物Euonymus glabraRoxb.中发现得到了一种结构全新的天然产物。研究发现,该产物可以在体外和细胞水平抑制多巴脱羧酶的活力。 

业内专家认为,该项研究发现的新型化合物具有独特的多巴胺二倍体结构,为多巴胺相关疾病的治疗和预防研究提供了新的候选药物和分子探针工具。
