Nat Commun:上皮可塑性可在人和鼠膀胱癌中产生多系表型

最近,有研究人员假设这种静态分类忽略了肿瘤内的异质性和疾病发展过程中的细胞可塑性能力。研究人员通过对小鼠和人类膀胱癌模式系统的单细胞转录组分析表明,多系亚型肿瘤细胞不仅在转录水平上聚类在一起,而且可以维持伴随基因的表达,且至少有1种mRNA亚型。功能研究阐释了肿瘤起始和细胞可塑性可来自多个谱系亚型。最后,研究人员指出,他们的数据表明了谱系可塑性可能是肿瘤固有异质性的的原因之一,因此,对膀胱癌的分类和治疗是具有临床应用意义的。
