“转基因致癌”论文重新发表

6月24日报道,一群法国科学家2012年发表一篇引发争议研究报告认为,喷洒过杀虫剂的基因改造玉米与实验室老鼠罹癌有关,论文其后被撤回。对此,他们于24日提出反击,重新在线发表研究成果。

研究团队表示,这篇报告遭最初发表的期刊撤下,现在重新在德国施普林格出版集团(Springer Group)旗下《欧洲环境科学》(Environmental Sciences Europe)期刊发表。研究人员说,原始资料现在发布于公共领域,让其他人能详细检视。

研究团队发表声明说:“对与全球食品安全密切相关的科技风险研究进行审查,有损科学的价值与信誉。”

法国诺曼底康城大学(University of Caen)教授塞拉里尼(Gilles-Eric Seralini)领导的研究报告作者表示,喂食NK603玉米和“农达”(Roundup)除草剂的老鼠,罹患肝脏和肾脏疾病及乳房肿瘤。

这项研究报告于2012年9月首度发布时引爆争议。许多其他科学家当时表示,这项研究有缺陷。评论员6月24日说,研究报告重新发布,并没有任何改变。

据报道,美国农业生技龙头孟山都公司(Monsanto)研发的NK603,能对除草剂“农达”免疫。因此,农夫能以农达除草剂喷洒农田,在不伤害作物下去除杂草。

研究作者24日支持他们原本的研究结论,抨击《食品与化学毒物学》期刊(Food and Chemical Toxicology)撤回他们的研究报告。已发表的论文遭撤回,在科学界是一大耻辱。

他们写道:“农达配方与抗农达除草剂的基因改造作物,应该被视为(荷尔蒙)干扰物,当前它们对健康影响的评估仍严重不足。”
