结核病是由结核分枝杆菌(mycobacterium tuberculosis,MTB)引起的经呼吸道传播的传染病,在全球广泛流行,是世界性的重大公共卫生问题之一。世界卫生组织2016年报道,2015年全球新发结核病1 040万例,140万人死于该病,防治形势依然严峻。近年来,虽然结核病诊疗技术发展迅速,但仍有1%~3%的患者进展为重症结核病,其中呼吸衰竭和多器官功能障碍综合征是重症结核病患者收入结核病重症加强治疗病房(tuberculosis intensive care unit,TBICU)的主要原因,前者的病死率高达69%,后者的发生率达19%~80%。
