其中一半的参与者每天食用冻干的蔓越莓粉,相当于每天摄入一杯或100克新鲜的蔓越莓,另外一半参与者则摄入安慰剂;这项研究中,研究人员首次分析了人类摄入蔓越莓对其机体认知和大脑健康的长期影响。研究结果表明,摄入蔓越莓或能明显改善参与者对日常生活(视觉情景记忆)的记忆、神经功能和大脑的血液输送(大脑灌注)。研究者Vauzour说道,我们发现,摄入蔓越莓粉的参与者表现出了情景记忆表现的明显改善,同时还能改善诸如氧气和葡萄糖在大脑重要部位的循环,从而就能支持大脑的认知,尤其是记忆的巩固和检索。
