JCEM:钠的摄入是否会影响骨质疏松的发生?

据发表于Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism的一项前瞻性观察队列研究,钠的摄入量并不会影响绝经后女性骨质疏松症的发生风险。

研究共纳入了69735名参与妇女的健康倡议的绝经后女性,平均随访为11.4年,以探究钠的摄入量与腰椎、全髋关节、股骨颈及全身骨密度的变化之间是否存在关联,是否会影响骨折的发生率,以及是否这种关系是否可通过钾和/或钙的摄入来改变。

校正后分析发现,基线时期至3/6年的随访期间,钠摄入量与髋部及腰椎的骨密度变化之间并无关联。基线时期至随访3年期间发现,较高的钠摄入量可增加全身的骨密度,且基线时期至6年随访期间也发现有此趋势,且可减少髋部骨折的发生。


敏感性分析中, BMI作为一个额外的相关变量,分析发现钠摄入量与身体各部位骨骼的骨密度变化或骨折事件发生之间并无任何关联。校正钾的摄入量后,发现钠的摄入量与骨折的发生之间并无关联。钙的摄入量并不会改变钠摄入量与骨折之间的关联。

本研究显示,基线时期至随访3/6年期间,钠的摄入量高于或低于目前所推荐的心血管疾病指南的水平(≤2300 mg /d)与身体各部位骨骼密度的改变之间并无关联,且与骨折事件的发生也无关联。
