JAMA Neurol:轻中度AD患者接受年轻血浆的可行性研究

研究认为,轻中度阿尔兹海默患者接受年轻健康血浆输注是安全、可耐受和可行的,随后将开展进一步研究评估该方案的治疗效果

小鼠模型中,年轻小鼠的血浆可恢复老年小鼠的记忆能力,但对于阿尔兹海默患者,该方案的有效性尚不明确。近日研究人员评估了对AD患者输注18-30岁献血者新鲜血浆(Yffp)的安全性、耐受性和可行性。

PLASMA研究随机招募了9名轻中度AD患者每周接受250 mL 男性yFFP或生理盐水输注,持续4周,暂停6周后,交替治疗。随后所有患者接受4周的公开治疗。研究的主要终点是治疗的安全性、耐受性和可行性

参与者年龄、基线精神状态评估得分无显著差异。未发生严重不良事件。1名患者因荨麻疹而停止研究,1名患者因不相关的中风而停止研究,组间轻中度不良事件率差异不显著,血浆输注组最常见的不良事件包括高血压、头晕、窦性心动过缓、头痛以及窦性心动过速。随访中患者依从率为86%,排除早期终止患者后,依从性为96%。

研究认为,轻中度阿尔兹海默患者接受年轻健康血浆输注是安全、可耐受和可行的,随后将开展进一步研究评估该方案的治疗效果。
